CEO

Seema Gruman, CPA, combines an entrepreneurial spirit with keen financial acumen and close to a decade of experience in the real estate financial services industry. Prior to founding Opus Management, Seema served as CFO of Terra Financial, providing financial management and operational support to real estate owners and operators across the United States.Seema’s eye for hidden value, coupled with her significant success in seamlessly integrating real estate financial and operational teams, has earned her respect throughout the industry.

An operational whiz, Joe brings close to ten years of real estate management experience to Opus. He oversees all aspects of operations, from the pre-purchase walk-through to the formation and execution of the business plan and day-to-day management and purchasing. Joe has designed and implemented an efficient, organized process, ensuring all renovations are completed ahead of schedule and within budget.Prior to joining Opus, Joe managed a portfolio of 1800 units across New Jersey, instituting best practices to ensure efficient management and improve residents’ quality of life. A strong leader, Joe brings out the strength of every member of the Opus team, frequently visiting properties and cultivating a positive, supportive team culture across the company.

Laura Jalca
Regional Property Manager

Laura brings two decades of property management experience to the Opus team. As regional property manager, Laura oversees Opus’ Florida and Georgia portfolios. A proactive problem solver with strong leadership skills and a team-building mindset, Laura works closely with onsite staff to ensure the efficiency and optimal performance of each property, including the marketing and leasing, upholding Opus’ signature high standards and guaranteeing tenant satisfaction. Laura earned a degree in marketing from Western Michigan University. “Let’s not talk about the problem – instead, let’s dig deep and find the solution. Johan Saravia
Regional Maintenance Manager

Johan joined the Opus team as maintenance supervisor at The Riviera at 8412 in Tampa, Florida. He stood out for his organizational skills, dedication, and efficiency, and was promoted to regional maintenance manager, overseeing the maintenance of the Florida and Georgia portfolios. In this role, Johan works closely with the corporate office and onsite management to coordinate all maintenance activities. This includes overseeing renovations, implementing preventative maintenance programs, creating and maintaining relationships with service teams and contractors, and ensuring the upkeep of each property. “Every person you work with has something you can learn from.
